Geopolitical Summit: An Uninhabitable Earth? Global and Local Impact of Climate Change
Critics say author David Wallace-Wells is an alarmist but many others say his book, “The Uninhabitable Earth,” is a long overdue antidote to climate complacency. FIU’s 7th Geopolitical Summit will examine the complex issues related to climate change, from global warming and sea level rise to more frequent and intense weather events like hurricanes and wildfires. Experts will discuss what this means globally and in South Florida, as well as solutions – from collective action for states and nations to what you and your family can do at home.
