What should we do if we see someone that is against equality? I mean, I would not try to force him; what would you do to persuade him/her?

how would you deal as a public servant with an elective official such as a mayor actions or inactions are against equality or the interest of the public advancement?

If there exists budgetary constraints which limits monies available to fund public resources, how you choose equity vs. equality?

From what I understand.... ‘equality’ will not work. Equity is the solution. example> if everyone gets $1200 as stimulus payment, it might not be enough for lower income earners. However, that amount is pennies to higher income earners.

Do you believe that policies on social equity would help with police reform? Would a referendum on a ballot be the best way?
Jacob Torres
01:04:09
one thing I am concerned with is the OASDI deferral executive order. this might help people short term. However, making them pay back in 2021. This is a burden either way and could affect long term programs such as retirement. -Jacob

How would you address over-reliance on public funds? Like a situation where large swaths of a population prefer not to work because they make more money on public assistance?
Seraphin Bernard
01:11:28
Policy is the driving force in public administration. I would say a concentration in policy and planning may serve the purpose for a student looking to engage in the discipline as a subject matter expert. Is there such concentration in PA?

The $1,200 was equity at the Federal level but shouldn't States step in to address equality?
